Green Shoots and Grey Skies - October 2012

Remember that photo Jonathan took of everyone, after the Jubilee Party? Well it's time to bury it, along with other evidence of 'this moment in time for the village', for posterity. Shortly before this year's procession and fireworks, the village Time Capsule will be buried alongside the Jubilee Oak Tree which will be planted at the same time. For more details CLICK HERE.

Irish music with a French accent

November sees the welcome return of the wonderful three generation French family band Trotwood. They only visit occasionally so this is a rare opportunity to hear a unique French take on traditional Irish music. The concert, in the Dunn Village Hall, is billed as 'a candlelight picnic and dance' and the band will be supported by local group Cornflower Blue and a few of their Sussex friends. It will be a “bring your own food and drink” and “ticket only” event, (no tickets on the door). CLICK HERE for more information about times, date and how to book tickets.

Ideas welcome
