Recent Village Leafage . . .

A Time Capsule; a Jubilee Tree; a torchlit processsion and bonfire with fireworks; a very musical evening.

Despite the horrid weather this year's Warbleton & Rushlake Green Bonfire Society bonfire night was yet another sparkling success. Incidentally, the Bonfire Committee is in need of additional members and is always looking for ideas and support for fundraising. If you'd like to get involved, contact Holly Day & Sasha Long via email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Earlier the same evening, the time capsule was safely buried under a slab just north of the Parish sign on the green . . .

. . . after which the jubillee tree (a mulberry) was ceremoniously planted on a patch of grass overlooking the Village Hall.

And we kicked off November with a very special evening of music in the Dunn Village Hall.
The first half featured brilliant sets from locals Marilyn & Andy, John Cave and Cornflower Blue.

Trotwood, from Auvergne, topped the bill with a unique brand of Celtic music which was much appreciated by the packed audience.

Well done to Chris Liddiard for assembling such a rich variety of talented musicians.
