The Friends of Chris Liddiard will be performing well known hits from 1968. Many will remember Chris introducing this brilliant bunch of local musicians at the Little Arts festival. 1968 was a golden period for recorded music and the evening will include songs by: the Kinks, Louis Armstrong, Mary Hopkins, Manfred Mann, The Hollies, Isley Brothers, Otis Redding, Tom Jones, the Doors, Simon & Garfunkel, Scaffold, Frank Sinatra, the Rolling Stones, Status Quo, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles and many others..
Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30 start in the Dunn Village Hall, Rushlake Green, on 6th October. Tickets are £5.00 (bargain) available from The Rushlake Green Stores or at the door. There’ll be a raffle in a half time break. The cash bar will be open throughout. Sixties outfits and hair will be optional but very welcome. Some we suspect will probably find the temptation irresistible.
