The Housecarls‘ appearance at The White Horse Bodle Street Green (7pm Friday 21st November) marks something of a homecoming for band member Danny Goring who organised the gig. Danny grew up in Rushlake Green (pictures anyone?) and in the 90s also lived in Warbleton, where he was involved in community music making. Now living in Hastings, Danny has begun putting on music events under the ‘WARBLETONE’ banner, which is a collective venture with a group of other musicians (some Warbletonians).
The Housecarls’ Gig at the White Horse also features special guest Nigel Horn, who some may remember caused a sensation with his celtic fingerstyle guitar playing at the 2024 Little Arts Festival at Rushlake Green. Promises to be a banging night.

We should mention that the White Horse is also the venue for a regular Open Mic night, thanks to tireless local music promoter and organiser Benita Johnson. The next open mic night will be Wednesday November 5th.
