The first Little Arts Festival on Rushlake Green took place over 10 days in August 2016. The programme of more than 30 events – all created by local artists, performers and arts groups – encompassed visual arts, theatre, poetry, live music of many genres, craft making and much more.
Now, in response to requests and interest across the community, the work has started to explore the potential for another Little Arts Festival on Rushlake Green, to take place in the second half of 2024.
After some initial discussions with the arts groups who were involved in the 2016 festival, the next stage will be to seek out everyone, involved in any form of the arts, who could be interested in contributing to a 2024 programme of events. Work will also start on engaging with all those who would be willing to take an active part in the development and delivery of the event.
If you’re involved with the arts and would like to know more about contributing, or you would consider getting involved in helping make the event happen, please contact Nigel on thelittleartsfestival@gmail.
For at least these initial stages of exploring the possibility of a 2024 festival, this Little Arts Festival web page is kindly being hosted by the Rushlake Green Village Leaf.
