The Village Players have been busy rehearsing their contribution to the commemorations of the 80th Anniversary of VE Day! On Saturday May 10th at All Saints Church Old Heathfield, members of the Village Players will be performing a mixture of songs, readings, poems and sketches to commemorate VE Day 80.

This is what they’ve told us about their plans:
“There will be two performances: first at 1:30pm and the second (a repeat performance) at 3pm . The performance lasts for approximately 45 minutes. This event forms part of the weekend’s planned entertainment by All Saints Church and there will also be an exhibition of wartime memorabilia on display…”

” … Our commemoration will be both comic and serious and we sincerely hope that our audience will enjoy both aspects. Please come along to support us!”
