Concerned residents would have noticed that the Warbleton defibrillator (AED) was for a period rendered inaccessible by the work on the building that used to be the Warbill-in-Tun pub. The defibrillator has now been removed, and safely stored, while efforts are made to find a new location for the box, because the building owners are not willing to have the AED retained in its original location.

Warbleton Parish Council (who have now taken responsibility for our local community funded AEDs), Warbleton Parish Church (who contributed to the funding the the AED) and Heathfield Community First Responders (who now have responsibility for monitoring and maintaining the units) have been working together on this. The aim is to get the defibrillator re-installed in a new location nearby, and ready to provide life-saving assistance, as soon as possible. We will keep you updated on this important issue.
