It started as just a simple idea. Why not make use of the frontage of the Black Shed beside the Village Stores to create a space for local artists, makers and collectors. Andrea, whose brainchild this was, had just enough time to test out the idea before the November lockdown. In fact the hiatus created valuable time to refine the idea and recruit stall holders for the December run up to Christmas. Enhancements included a couple of handsome timber slab shelves, mounted on equally rustic whiskey barrels. To this was added a pagoda, with weather-proof sides, which proved a life saver.

The result, an amazing succession of brilliant and instantly popular stalls. We don’t have space to show everyone here but this is just a selection. A full list can be seen here, with contact details for many of those who attended.
