Friday night marks the official start of the 2024 Little Arts Festival programme. Everyone is welcome at this preview of ART ON THE GREEN – an opportunity for local artists of all levels of experience to submit artworks pieces for the opening show of the festival. More than 80 works will be on display including paintings, drawings, 3D works and photographs. The opening preview is a chance to meet many of the artists exhibiting in the show. You can also meet the Little Arts Festival team and learn about all the amazing events planned for the festival that continues until 24th August. The preview is free entry and there will be a bar.
This exhibition also marks the return of the summer open art exhibition which was for many years a regular event in the Rushlake Green village calendar, particularly under the creative leadership of the late Chris Liddiard. Some of Chris’s paintings will be featured in this years show.
