The Annual Parish Assembly takes place on Tuesday 24th May in the Dunn Village Hall at 6.30pm. Time was when these were pretty dry, poorly attended affairs. But the current, more energetic, Council has made sure this year’s meeting is informative and useful. In addition to reports about what, over the past six months, the Council has been up to on our behalf, the agenda also includes news about parish emergency planning, local crime prevention, the plans for the Big Jubilee Lunch, the Time Capsule, and the activities of the Wild About Warbleton bio-diversity group. We understand that there is at least one vacancy for a new Councillor and this meting would be an ideal opportunity for anyone interested to find out more, and talk to some Councillors. There will also be an explanation and demonstration of the Publicly Available Defibrillators (AEDs) that have been installed around and beyond Warbleton.

The Parish Council has responsibility for the AEDs at Osborne House, Rushlake Green; the White Horse, Bodle Street Green; The Telephone Box, Three Cups Corner; Outside the Warbl-in-tun, Warbleton. We’ve also made a map (see below) of all the local AEDs we’re aware of, and you can find an earlier related Village Leaf article here:
