After long service to the Warbleton Parish Council, Bryan Whitton has decided to step down as Chairman with immediate effect and has also we understand resigned his seat on the Council. Councillor Long (formerly Deputy Chairman) is now the Acting Chairman until new elections are held at the Annual Statutory Meeting, scheduled for May. The Parish Council would like to thank Bryan for all his contributions to the Parish.
Following government advice all Parish Council meetings are now suspended until further notice. Parish Council business will continue through delegated powers. Councillors will still respond to planning applications. Members of the public can view applications via the Wealden District Council planning portal https://planning.wealden.gov.uk and comment directly to Wealden District Council.
