Mike tells us: ” . . . An old friend is under the palliative care of the Macmillan Wing at UCH where they are looking after him wonderfully well and making him as comfortable as possible. So we are running a coffee morning to support the fantastic work that Macmillan does and we very much hope that you, your family and friends will join us to lend your support. As well as coffee and cakes, thanks to many peoples’ generosity, there will be other fundraising opportunities . . . ” :
