Here are some notes about the musicians, shared by Clyde Young:

  • James Davison on trumpet: Winner of the Worshipful Company of Musicians Young Jazz Musician of the Year (2018). He is currently lead trumpet with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra and the patchwork Jazz Orchestra.
  • Duncan Hemstock on piano/sax: Growing up in Adelaide, he toured in the much loved Royal Garden Jazz Band and as a soloist all across Australia. Now living in London, he performs to concert audiences throughout the UK and Europe.
  • Liam Dunachie on piano: a pianist, jazz organist, composer and arranger based in London. He has performed in all of London’s major jazz and commercial venues and many others across the UK.
  • Adam King on Bass: 2015 Young Jazz Musician of the Year.
  • Steve Brown on drums: Has become one of the most sought after drummers in the country and, since studying in New York in the early 1990s, has worked with almost every major British artist as well as many visiting American musicians.

And….they are all here in Bodle Street Green on Sat 25th November!!

Tim Lord has put together another great show and I do hope you’ll be able to come and see the last jazz concert of 2023!
Cheers
Clyde
