The Village Players poetry and prose workshop (2pm Sat 17th August Dunn Village Hall) ‘Can I have Word Please’ promises to be an intriguing and thought-provoking high-point in the Little Arts Festival programme.

The Village Players put the word out for local poets and writers to contribute original works, and for people to send in their requests for pieces to be read. In the workshop, there will be writers reading their own works and the Village Players will be performing requests and also some more works created by local poets.  The event will be very informal and the bar will be open throughout for drinks, teas coffees etc.  Well done to Pam Edmonds and all at the Village Players that have put together this highly original mix, with everything from evocative thought-pieces to light-hearted little gems.
This is a ‘Pay what you like’ event in advance online or at the door
