Yes it’s true, the Beatles really did sometimes stop off at ‘Dawes Stores’ in Rushlake Green when, in the sixties their manager Brian Epstein had his country home in nearby Kingsley Hill. And at 7.00pm this Saturday 10th August those talented musicians that make up the ‘Nothing is Real’ band will be performing every 1964 Beatles song including the albums A Hard Day’s Night and Beatles for Sale, not forgetting the often overlooked EP Long Tall Sally, as part of the Little Arts Festival – 60 years after these timeless songs were first heard.
‘Nothing is Real’ are authentic Beatles enthusiasts and bring a real passion (and lots of knowledge) to their versions of these Beatles classics.

As always, it will be an evening that brilliantly revisits these sensational songs, with plenty of opportunities for the audience to get off their feet and groove the night away. The bar will be open throughout!
The ‘When 64 was FAB’ gig starts at 7.00pm in the Dunn Village, Rushlake Green, TN21 9QD. It’s part of the Rushlake Green Little Arts Festival. Full details on the website. Booking is not essential but tickets can be purchased online there if desired.
